Happy, Party of 3! |
Happy May everyone! I have nothing really profound to share
today, just an overall sense of delight. I woke this morning to the glorious
sight of cyclists heading down Bullard (main street) for the first of the Tour
of The Gila bike races. World class racers from around the world, and the best
reason for the invention of Spandex ever!
There are five days of racing – long, grueling, high altitude competition for
some of the best racers in the world.
I walked the 25 steps over to 3 Dogs Coffee to say bon
voyage to friends that were leaving on a year-long vagabond adventure in their van.
Joseph, a carpenter, and Mary, and their dog, not named Jesus. Mary is a fabric and jewelry artist. They all,
including the dog, looked so happy to start their new adventure. They’ve just
started a blog: tinkervan53.blogspot.com. I will definitely be following it, so
I can learn more about living a portable life.
I’ve included some pics from around Silver City just because
this town is so incredibly beautiful. And I wanted to share.
